NEN University – Knowledge is Empowerment
Over a year ago the NEN partnered with The Institute of Civic and Community Engagement of SF State to create NEN University (NENu). Inspired by the partnerships in other major cities between universities and local communities, NENu will be officially rolled out in at least two communities beginning in the Fall of 2009. We'll be making a multi-year commitment to these neighborhoods by acting as a platform that will not only help them identify and prioritize their challenges and goals but also support them in addressing and achieving them as well.
