San Francisco is known for its generosity when communities are in need and it is time, once again, to support those who are suffering in the aftermath of this event.

Mayor Lee launched the SFGivesBack website in March of 2011 after Japan was devastated by an earthquake and following tsunami. Mayor Lee is again urging residents to donate funds to help communities recover from a natural disaster.

Over the years, San Francisco residents have donated thousands of dollars to charitable organizations across the world in an effort to help restore the communities devastated by natural disasters.
