Background on the Resilient Cayuga Initiative;

Founded in 2015, Resilient Cayuga is comprised of local CBOs, Faith Based Organizations, Schools, Government Agencies and Neighborhoods who are all committed to building a safer, more connected and resilient community along the Cayuga corridor.  A key component of their strategy is to bring together local stakeholder institutions to increase their collective awareness of each other’s disaster resilience goals as well as learn how to work together during times of stress.

Neighborhood Empowerment Network is a cross sector cohort of city-wide resident leaders, community & faith based organizations, city agencies, private sector stakeholders, academic and philanthropic institutions that align their expertise, programs, technical and financial resources to advance the development of tools, resources and methods that empower communities to strengthen their capacity to advance their resilience goals.
